Robbie Coltrane, actor que interpretó a Hagrid de Harry Potter ha muerto con 72 años

Creo que muchos de vosotros lo recordaréis, tanto como yo. Con mucho cariño. Parece que fue ayer cuándo estaba viendo por primera vez Harry Potter, quedando curiosa por su enorme tamaño, riendo por esa tarta algo desastrosa que le hizo a al protagonista de Harry Potter. De hecho, creo que la primera vez que la vi yo también tenía 11 años.

Ahora, sabremos que obviamente el actor británico Robbie Coltrane, no podrá hacer más películas donde la magia le entorne. Justo ayer Viernes día 14 de Octubre del 2022 el cuerpo del actor se apagó, aunque su alma estoy segura de que tiene mucho por lo que volar en nuestro tan increíble firmamento. Desde Hidden Words, siento traeros esta noticia, pero me parecía necesaria pronunciarla y también sentiré que deberé actualizaros con lo que ocurra.

Analicemos un poco su recorrido

Este maravilloso actor que se ganó mi corazón, durante su carrera llegó a ganar hasta cinco premios Bafta de la Academia de cine y también de la televisión británica. No soy muy consciente de cuánto valor tenían esos premios pero sí sé que en los años 1996 y 1994 los logró gracias a haber participado en una serie llamada ''Cracker''.

Por supuesto, su historia continúa. Ha actuado en varios filmes haciendo de James Bond ''GolenEye'' en el año 1995 y también participó en ''The World in not Enough' en el 1999.

Fue nombrado Oficial de la Orden por la reina Isabel II

A veces los sueños se hacen realidad y, Robbie Coltrane logró cumplir uno de los suyos. Él soñaba con poder actuar en una película tan clásica como lo es ''Mary Poppins', así que tras lograr tener por su paso tantos papeles interpretados, éste fue uno más. 

Este semi-gigante que siempre me dio por querer abrazar tras una pantalla, ha logrado maravillas desde que J.K. Rowling se convirtió en la Diosa creadora del personaje de Hagrid. Entre ellas, es que en el 2006 fue proclamado por la reina Isabel II de Inglaterra un título Oficial de la Orden del Imperio Británico. También mientras trabajaba ya entonces todavía en las sagas de Harry Potter, que no tuvo pocos filmes, se hizo presente también en Van Helsing, Oceans 11... y cuando la saga completa llegó a su fin, tras haber pasado muchos años, de lio voz a uno de los personajes de Disney de la película indomable. 

¿Pero qué le ha ocurrido a nuestro tan entrañado intérprete?

Sabemos que Robbie Coltrane no quería llamar mucho la atención y prefería lograr pasar desapercibido por los medios. Sobra decir que hay muchos motivos para actuar desde el silencio, por la experiencia que muchos actores y celebrities han pasado, pero, por lo menos sí sabemos que su verdadero nombre es Antohony Robert McMillan y que un 30 de Marzo de 1950 nació de un padre doctor y una artista que sabía tocar el piano. También se sabe que tiene dos hermanas -digo tiene, porque para mí una vez morimos no dejamos de tener una familia-. 

Lo que sabemos sobre su muerte según un comunicado que ha sido emitido por Belinda Wright es que ayer falleció en un hospital que se encuentra en Escocia, en Larbert. Se pidió por supuesto que se respete la privacidad de la familia en este momento tan angustioso y además en su pronunciamiento se leyó: “Además de ser un actor maravilloso, era forensemente inteligente, brillantemente ingenioso y después de 40 años de estar orgulloso de ser llamado su agente, lo extrañaré”. 

Robbie Coltrane, según ''La Vanguardia'' por lo que he podido leer, padecía de una enfermedad llamada osteoartritis que le afectaba especialmente a sus rodillas, tenía problemas para caminar y estaba a la espera de una operación en el año 2019. Pero desde el hospital Forth Valley Royal de Lambert, tan sólo se recibió apoyo y sus familiares no han hablado por el momento de su muerte.

''El legado de las películas de Harry Potter es que la generación de mis hijos se las pondrán a sus hijos. Seguro se seguirán viendo dentro de 50 años. Por desgracia yo ya no estaré... pero HAGRID sí'' dijo Robbie Coltrane una vez. 

Y así será amigo... que tu alma siga sintiendo la magia con tanto ímpetu.

Robbie Coltrane, actor who played Hagrid in Harry Potter has died aged 72.

I think many of you will remember it, as much as I do. Fondly. It seems like only yesterday that I was watching Harry Potter for the first time, being curious about its enormous size, laughing at that somewhat disastrous cake she made for the Harry Potter protagonist. In fact, I think the first time I saw it I was 11 years old myself.

Now, we will know that obviously the British actor Robbie Coltrane, will not be able to make any more movies where the magic is in his hands. Just yesterday, Friday, October 14, 2022, the actor's body passed away, although his soul, I'm sure, has a lot to fly for in our incredible firmament. From Hidden Words, I am sorry to bring you this news, but I felt it necessary to pronounce it and I also feel I must update you with what happens.

Let's take a look at his career

This wonderful actor who won my heart, during his career went on to win as many as five Bafta awards from the Academy of British film and also television. I am not very aware of how much value those awards had but I do know that in the years 1996 and 1994 he achieved them thanks to having participated in a series called ''Cracker''.

Of course, his story continues. He has acted in several films playing James Bond ''GolenEye'' in 1995 and also participated in ''The World in not Enough'' in 1999.

He was appointed Officer of the Order by Queen Elizabeth II.

But what has happened to our so endearing interpreter?

We know that Robbie Coltrane did not want to attract much attention and preferred to remain unnoticed by the media. Needless to say that there are many reasons to act from silence, because of the experience that many actors and celebrities have gone through, but, at least we do know that his real name is Antohony Robert McMillan and that on March 30, 1950 he was born to a doctor father and an artist who knew how to play the piano. It is also known that he has two sisters -I say has, because to me once we die we don't stop having a family-. 

What we know about her death according to a statement that has been issued by Belinda Wright is that yesterday she passed away in a hospital that is located in Scotland, in Larbert. It was of course requested that the family's privacy be respected at this distressing time and also in their pronouncement read, "As well as being a wonderful actor, he was forensically intelligent, brilliantly witty and after 40 years of being proud to be called his agent, I will miss him." 

Robbie Coltrane, according to ''The Vanguard'' from what I have been able to read, was suffering from a disease called osteoarthritis which particularly affected his knees, he had trouble walking and was awaiting an operation in 2019. But from Lambert's Forth Valley Royal hospital, only support was received and his relatives have not spoken at the moment about his death.

''The legacy of the Harry Potter films is that my children's generation will be watching them for their children. I'm sure they'll still be watching in 50 years' time. Sadly I will be gone... but HAGRID will be.'' Robbie Coltrane once said.
